The spill occurred near the Solano County Fairgrounds. The mess blocked two westbound lanes on Highway 37. It also clogged the ramps leading to westbound 37 from both directions of I-80.
The trouble started just before 5:00 a.m. on Friday morning. Crews then spent the next few hours clearing tons of manure from the roadway.
