The Sheriff's Office obtained video of the two suspects' vehicles. Investigators say one of them shot at a blue SUV on Interstate 580, hitting the driver in the head and injuring a passenger.

The driver lost an eye in the shooting.

A stray bullet from that shooting hit a sheriff deputy in the leg while he was on a routine traffic stop. He later recovered.

The Sherrif's Department is offering a $17,000 reward for information in the case. You can call (510) 667-3921 if you have any tips.
