Trina Thompson is asking New York's Monroe College for the $70,000 she spent on her information technology degree.
Thompson says she has done everything she can to find employment and faults her school for not supplying the career help it promised.
Monroe College says Thompson's lawsuit is "completely without merit" and "the case does not deserve further consideration."
