An 18-wheeler pulled up to the loading dock Friday morning and dropped off 100,000 pounds of chicken and other high-protein items.

The contribution from the Tyson Foods company is the result of a social networking campaign.

It's part of the food bank's annual hunger challenge and will feed thousands of needy people in the Bay Area.
