Muslim group releases annual civil rights report

The Council on American-Islamic relations (CAIR) released its fourteenth annual report on the status of Muslim civil rights in the United States.

In 2008, CAIR chapters across the nation processed more than 2,700 complaints of hate crimes and harassment -- a rise of 3 percent from the previous year.

200 of those complaints came from the San Francisco Bay Area.
