Truck flips over in front of South San Francisco store

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO

Police say they began chasing a pickup truck after trying to pull the driver over for speeding. Officers decided to cut off the chase in South San Francisco, but minutes later the suspect flipped the truck and slammed into a tree.

The crash also knocked out a big storefront window on Grand Avenue and Airport Boulevard.

Amazingly, the driver is said to have only non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital and is being investigated for drunk driving.
