Army Private First Class Kevin Germano was greeted not only by friends and family, but also members of the Scottish American Military Society, Post 1921. They thanked him for his service and presented a certificate of appreciation.
Germano has 30 days of leave before he has to return to Fort Hood, Texas. He is part of the First Cavalry Division, Third Brigade. In Iraq, Germano provided personal protection detail for his battalion commander in Mosul.
