Officials are proposing an all-electronic toll system as a way to save approximately $2 million in personnel costs. Under the plan, drivers would have to use Fast-Trak or pay a bill later. A camera would snap pictures of license plates and send bills to drivers' home addresses.
Officials say 35 toll workers would be let go if the digital transition is made.
