Police in Santa Rosa are trying to identify two suspects who robbed a Foster's Freeze at gunpoint on Tuesday night.

Officers went to 1400 Fourth St. at 9:06 p.m. on a report of an armed robbery, according to Santa Rosa police.

Two men with handguns and wearing dark clothing with bandanas over their faces had entered the restaurant through a back entrance. They apparently disconnected the phone in the kitchen area, held employees at gunpoint and took the cash drawer out of the register.

The suspects then fled through the back door with the money, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Arriving officers searched the area but did not find the suspects.

One was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, around 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build and brown eyes. The other suspect was described as a white man also in his 20s, around 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Santa Rosa police at (707) 543-3590.
