Two men wearing ski masks forced their way into a house in the 600 block of Nikki Drive Monday afternoon and fled with cash and property, Petaluma police said.

The male resident heard noises around 1:30 p.m. before the two Hispanic male suspects confronted him, Lt. Tim Lyons said.

The suspects pushed the man into a bedroom and assaulted him before fleeing with the money and property toward Sunrise Parkway. A vehicle was not seen, Lyons said.

The victim did not need medical treatment, Lyons said.

Both suspects have medium builds and were wearing a black shirt.

One suspect wore blue pants and brown shoes and the other had a design on the back pockets of his pants, Lyons said.
