The Secret Service says 20-year-old Amanda Mata and 27-year-old Lamar Cotton stole personal data and used it to buy Nordstrom department store gift cards from supermarkets around Northern California.
Investigators say the pair used the gift cards to buy merchandise at Nordstrom and return them at other branches for cash.
