A call came in at 12:20 a.m. reporting a home invasion in the 100 block of Covington Street, Oakland police spokeswoman Holly Joshi said. The area is near Foothill Boulevard and Interstate Highway 580.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, Joshi said.
No one at the home was injured.
