AAA says the average price at the pump nationwide is $2.75. That's up $.02 from the week before and is expected to go up even further as demand spikes around the Fourth of July holiday.
Here in California, the price is up $.04 a gallon to an average of $3.14.
Investors who see oil as a good place to put their money, are also driving up gas prices.
