There are new reports that Verizon will start selling Apple's iPhone.

Bloomberg news cites multiple sources who say Verizon will begin carrying the iPhone in January next year.

That would end AT&T monopoly with Apple -- an exclusive contract it has had since 2007.

iPhone users have long complained about AT&T service.

One analyst tells Bloomberg that Verizon customers could buy three million new iPhones per quarter.
