Tara Fitzgerald says this happened when she allowed technician Riyaz Shaikh access to her computer in December of 2008.
Dell says it contacted its vendor in India about the allegation and confirmed that the Shaikh no longer handles Dell calls.
A Dell spokesperson says they're working with Fitzgerald to resolve the issue.
