One person burned in SF apartment fire

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Firefighters responded at about 12:30 p.m. to a three-story apartment at 1366 Haight St., where fire was reported on the second floor, San Francisco Fire Department spokeswoman Lt. Mindy Talmadge said.

On occupant of a second-floor apartment was injured in the fire and taken to a burn unit at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Talmadge said.

No other injuries were reported, and the fire was declared under control at 12:54 p.m., Talmadge said.

Fire investigators remained at the scene this afternoon to determine if damage had rendered any apartments uninhabitable.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
