2 injured in marijuana-related home robbery

SANTA ROSA, CA

Police went to Sutter Medical Center in Santa Rosa at about 3:30 a.m. to interview the victims of the robbery, which occurred in the 1800 block of Vermillion Way, Sgt. Lance Badger said.

One of the victims said several armed suspects forced him into the residence at gunpoint when he arrived home from work, Badger said.

The suspects then confronted the rest of the residents and searched the home for valuables, Badger said.

They fled with several items, and the victims went to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, Badger said. They were later released.

Police said no one has been arrested, and it is believed the robbery is related to cultivation of marijuana at the home.
