Sebastopol to start strict new noise ordinance

SEBASTOPOL, CA

It bans any sound of more than 55 decibels, effectively prohibiting the use of leaf blowers which can be much louder than that.

ABC7 was told that Sebastopol police have already been equipped with noise meters to respond to complaints.
