Sara Cole turned herself in to police Wednesday and was released around 6 a.m. today from Santa Clara County jail after posting $30,000 bail, sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Rick Sung said.
Cole's arrest was the culmination of a two-month investigation that began after the victim's parents provided the department with information about the alleged crimes, police said.
Cole was interviewed last week and served a search warrant, which led to investigators seizing computer equipment and phones.
She was booked on three counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, police said.
She will be arraigned on Oct. 13, according to district attorney's spokeswoman Amy Cornell.
