Bone marrow drive held in SF to help 8-year-old

SAN FRANCISCO

Christian is receiving treatment, but he may need a bone marrow transplant and friends of the family are asking for your help.

"I really want to encourage people to find it in their heart it some out and register, and I know this is a very personal decision but it really could make the difference for Christian," Jon Osaki from the Japanese Community Youth Council said.

There will be a screening for potential bone marrow candidates at St. Anne school in the Sunset District next Thursday, October 7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
