Group: High levels of cancer toxin in SJ water

SAN JOSE, Calif. The Environmental Working Group study found 31 out of 35 cities tested had the presence of hexavalent chromium. San Jose had the fifth highest levels detected -- trailing Norman, Oklahoma, Honolulu, Hawaii, Riverside, and Madison, Wisconsin. The study comes as the Environmental Protection Agency considers implementing a national standard for hexavalent chromium in tap water.
