The California Highway Patrol's latest Start Smart class for teenage drivers and their families starts today.

Start Smart is a review of the rules of the road. The video clips and movies shown during the class inform parents and newly licensed and soon-to-be licensed teens of the restrictions on teen drivers.

The class is free and parents are invited to attend.

The class is between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the CHP office at 3050 Travis Blvd. in Fairfield.
