San Francisco women's health clinic set to shut down

SAN FRANCISCO

Lyon Martin Health Services was founded in 1979 and serves 2,500 patients a year.

On Sunday, the clinic's board voted to close the facility, because it is $250,000 in debt.

Since then, supporters have donated more than $10,000 and a fundraiser is planned for this Sunday.

The clinic's medical director hopes that will be enough to convince the board to grant a last minute delay of Wednesday's shutdown.
