Someone shot out the back window of a bus in North Richmond. The Contra Costa Times reports drivers on that route and others say they fear for their safety, and don't feel that the agency is doing enough to protect them.
Sheriff's deputies shadowed buses through North Richmond after that attack, but stopped following a few days later. AC Transit says it will increase its effort to place buses with cameras on the affected lines.
