People with good credit are getting more attention

Those with good credit are getting a lot more attention from credit card companies these days and those with lousy credit are hearing from the companies less.

A survey by the market research firm Synovate found that the of all credit card offers sent out, only 7 percent went to those with poor credit. That's a significant drop from 20 percent in 2007.

Sixty-four percent of credit card offers are now being made to consumers with excellent credit. That's up from 44 percent in 2007.
