Police responded to Seminary and Bancroft avenues at around 11:40 p.m. Friday night, police Officer A. Frye said.
A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot while sitting in a parked car, according to Frye.
No suspect information was immediately available and the investigation is ongoing.
