When you arrange a play date for your kids, you're probably going to undergo a background check.
A new survey by Retrevo.com shows nearly half of all parents have used Facebook to check up on fellow parents and parents who own iPhones are the most active.
If you're a teenager and your date's dad owns an iPhone... well, good luck!
"20 percent of these iPhone parents are going to use Facebook to do some background checking. So the image of the father standing there sternly looking at the boy who is going to be dating his daughter, now a days that is probably done on Facebook," said Jennifer Jacobson from Retrevo.com.
The survey was done for Retrevo, an electronics review and shopping site.
