Apple's Siri proves to be revolutionary

The voice-activated assistant on Apple's iPhone 4S is only in beta stage, but already it's proving to be revolutionary.

Last week's Siri network outage is proof that Apple is still working out the bugs, but despite that, Siri has been called as revolutionary as the first computer mouse.

"You can imagine Siri performing various functions in your house. About temperature, and HVAC, checking on your appliances, managing devices for you," said Gary Morgenthaler, a venture capitalist.

Apple won't comment, but some including the New York Times have speculated that Apple could come out with a new television and the Siri would be used to tell the TV what you want to watch.
