Royal couple's home security plans made public

CAMBRIDGE

Details of the work going on at Kensington Palace have been made available by council officials despite Buckingham Palace's request to keep them a secret. Security upgrades include fitting air-lock double doors and spiked railings.

The plans can be viewed at the Kensington and Chelsea council offices by anyone who applies in writing for an appointment.

The duke and duchess of Cambridge will move into Kensington next year.
