"The staff that operates those aircraft. The flight attendants, the pilots, the crew, the operation staff, will all be located and housed and live here," said Deborah Ale-Flint, the director of aviation.
Sixty new jobs will be created. Oakland airport officials say the new routes will also bring in an additional $100 million in tourism to the Bay Area.
