New accusations against Drakes Bay Oyster Farm

POINT REYES, Calif.

The California Coastal Commission says Drake's Bay Oyster Company at the Point Reyes National Seashore has been illegally using motorboats in a seal-protection area. The group also claims the company has littered the area with plastic debris.

The oyster company's owners say the accusations are based on false data from the National Park Service.

An independent analysis of that data last year by the Marine Mammal Commission was critical of the findings.
