Judge rules against students involved in prank

BRENTWOOD, Calif.

The judge denied the parents' request that the Heritage High School students be allowed to take their final exams and participate in their class' graduation ceremony this weekend.

Thirty seniors have been suspended, but as many as 80 students were involved in the incidents last Thursday night, which ranged from painting the ground of the campus quad to chaining up a lamb and leaving it there overnight. Administrators say the pranks crossed the line from harmless fun to serious vandalism.
