STAND! cutting back on jobs after lack of donations

CONCORD, Calif.

The Concord non-profit received about $300,000 less in donations this year than in 2011, according to a Contra Costa Times report.

Executive Director Gloria Sandoval says more calls than ever are coming into the shelter's hotlines. The secret shelter is almost always full. Last year, 15,000 calls came in compared to 13,000 calls in 2008.
