In a letter obtained by ABC7 News, San Jose City Manager Debra Figone says the POA is expected to decide whether to send the vote to the full membership during a meeting scheduled next Tuesday.
Some association members say they are unhappy with the direction of the department and beginning to question Moore's leadership.
The city manager says she strongly supports Moore.
