The parade starts at 6 p.m. Saturday at Market and Second streets. Crews have been creating parade floats since right after last year's event.
Traditional music and dance -- and of course fireworks -- will fill the streets as ornate floats wind their way through downtown and Chinatown to celebrate the Year of the Snake.
