115 catholic cardinals will gather in Rome Monday to choose a date for picking the next pope. The cardinals were officially summoned by the Vatican on Friday. They will meet to decide the actual start of the conclave at the Vatican.

Benedict XVI spent his first full day in retirement; some say the 85-year-old pontiff showed clear signs of exhaustion. "And you only have to look at him to see how sick he looks. I don't know whether he is, but how weak and he's deteriorated even in the last couple of months," said Cardinal George Pell, Archbishop of Sydney.

The pope's apartment will remain sealed until a new pope is appointed and the tweets on his Twitter account have been deleted for the next pope.
