The 40-year-old woman and 1-year-old boy were stabbed in the home on Viewmont Avenue is just outside San Jose city limits. Another 3-year-old girl was also injured and was transported to an area hostpial. There is not word yet on the surviving child's condition.
Deputies are looking for Ruben Ramirez as a person of interest in the stabbing. He is in his late 20s, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 210 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
The woman, children and Ramirez are all family members.
The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department is working the case because the home is just outside San Jose city limits.
