Lance Cpl. Myles Kerr was in a race in Michigan wearing boots and a ruck sack. His fellow Marines were concerned when he didn't finish the race with them.
That's when they found him helping out a 9-year-old boy struggling to finish the race who had been separated from his group.
The boy asked the 19-year-old to run with him and he did.
Kerr urged him on and the boy finished the race five seconds ahead of the Marine.
