A security firm is warning about what it says is a growing scam on a popular professional networking site.

USA Today reports that fake job offers are spreading at a fast pace on LinkedIn.

Antivirus software provider Bitdefender recently helped expose a fake profile of an attractive female recruiter named Annabella Erica who was gathering email addresses and passwords of job seekers.

Mountain View-based LinkedIn says people should think twice before clicking on a job promising thousands of dollars for doing nothing and staying home.
