The 5 and 6-year-olds were introduced to a rotary phone, a manual typewriter, and a record player. The kids were intrigued by all three and eager to learn exactly how they worked. The typewriter drew the most questions.
"It's a cash register," one girl proposed.
"I seen it on the TV before," another said.
"And it'll pop out money," declared another girl.
"It's a kind of laptop, but it don't have any screen," one boy said.
Priceless.
Some of the kids called the record player a CD player and one girl described the rotary phone as "yucky."
