SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KGO) -- Anyone planning to travel on BART's Fremont line this weekend including some fans headed to the Golden State Warriors game on Sunday will need to take a bus between San Leandro and Bay Fair stations, BART officials said.

The tracks between the two stations will be shut down as crews do needed repairs.

Crews will be replacing more than 2,000 feet of rail, 932 railroad ties and 1,000 other track parts, according to BART officials.

The tracks will close at 6 a.m. Saturday and be closed all day Saturday and Sunday. The tracks will reopen at 4 a.m. Monday, BART spokesman Taylor Huckaby said.

Some churches are warning parishioners, who may be planning their Eaters Sunday activities.

The Warriors game starts at 5 p.m. Sunday as the Warriors play the Philadelphia 76ers at Oracle Arena.

Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District buses will take BART passengers between the two stations, BART officials said. Warriors fans can ride those buses and all passengers should add 30 to 60 minutes of time to their travel schedule if they take a bus.

Oracle Arena opens at 3:30 p.m., Warriors officials said.
