Today's special edition focuses on our Bay Area's Asian Pacific American community. According to the Library of Congress, the term Asian-Pacific encompasses all of the Asian continent, as well as the Pacific islands of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. The people and cultures of the region have added significantly to the rich diversity of the Bay Area.
