CHP investigating after dead body found on I-80 on-ramp in Richmond

RICHMOND, Calif. -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating after a dead body was found on an on-ramp to Interstate 80 in Richmond late Tuesday morning.

Officers responded at 11:50 a.m. to a report of a person on the Central Avenue on-ramp to westbound I-80, according to the CHP.

No other information about the death was immediately available from the CHP.
