Artists around the world react to the Charlie Hebdo attack with powerful political cartoons

Following the tragic shooting that took place on Wednesday at French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo's offices in Paris, cartoonists around the world have responded with heartbreaking and thought-provoking cartoons.

The cartoons ranged from those honoring the victims whose lives were lost in the shooting, to defending the right of free speech. Check out the touching cartoons below.
