Aloha Festival in San Mateo draws big crowds

SAN MATEO, Calif. (KGO) -- ABC7 Mornings Anchor Natasha Zouves brought the spirit of aloha to the San Mateo Event Center for this year's Aloha Festival Saturday.

ABC7 Mornings Anchor Natasha Zouves brought the spirit of aloha to the San Mateo Event Center for this year's Aloha Festival Saturday.

ACB7 is a proud sponsor of the two-day event, which celebrates the music, food and culture from Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa and other Pacific islands.

The event is a huge draw for Bay Area residents, many of whom identify with the vibe of the islands.

"So friendly and relaxed. I lived in Honolulu for a while. I went to school there so brings back lots of happy memories," one attendee said.

The event continues tomorrow. Admission is free of charge, but parking is $15.
