LOS ANGELES -- A shocking elimination this week on "Dancing with the Stars" goes to show how important the fan vote can be - even a perfect score is no guarantee. In the end, three finalists were left standing on the dance floor.

Head judge Len Goodman said it best, "After last night's fantastic semi-final, hand on heart, none of these deserve to go home."

The semi-final round of season 20 really was one of the best two hours of dancing this show has seen. Big routines and even bigger emotions - and still, someone had to go home.

They did the results a little differently this time around. Each couple got their "moment in the spotlight," and their Monday night dances were reviewed. Then, they learned their fate.

Noah Galloway is in jeopardy.

Riker Lynch is safe.

Nastia Liukin is in jeopardy.

Rumer Willis is in jeopardy.

Noah is safe.

In the end, Nastia and Derek Hough were sent home. The Olympian didn't hide her disappointment.

"I definitely wanted to make it to the finale, especially because last night was so great to be able to dance with Derek again, but I kind of thought last night was a magical night. Not just for us, for everybody here. And I just want to thank Len specifically for giving us that magical dance and to be able to finish my experience with that dance meant a lot," she said.

Noah, Rumer and Riker will return for the finals - and the freestyle - on Monday, May 18. The next Mirror Ball Trophy winners will be revealed at the next results show on Tuesday, May 19.
