Oakley man who died with dog after vehicle crashed into tree in Antioch identified, authorities say

ANTIOCH, Calif. -- The Contra Costa County Coroner identified a man killed early Tuesday morning in a car wreck in Antioch.

Tyler Berry, 28, from Oakley, was killed when his vehicle crashed into a tree at approximately 2:45 a.m., on Wilbur Avenue near the intersection of Apollo Court.

A dog in the vehicle was also killed.

The slick road conditions and also drunk driving have been factors in car accidents over the last few days in the Bay Area, with some being fatal.
