A San Francisco woman spoke exclusively to ABC News about her court battle over the fate of her frozen embryos.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- ABC spoke exclusively to a San Francisco woman locked in a legal tug-of-war with her ex-husband over the fate of their frozen embryos.

Dr. Mimi Lee, 46, has sued to have the embryos implanted into a surrogate. Her ex-husband wants them destroyed. Lee shared her story in an exclusive interview with ABC News reporter Amy Robach.

"It's very... it hurts in a way that's so personal and from a friend that I trusted for so long. It was really disappointing," Lee said as she cried.
