EL CERRITO, Calif. (KGO) -- Tonight, the El Cerrito City Council will discuss raising the city's minimum wage, and might even draft a policy to be used county-wide. They're considering a minimum wage of $15 an hour.
While most wage increases have been in large cities with big business centers, the county is considering a new approach by focusing on a more dispersed population. If the model is adopted across the county, it would be the first in the nation to adopt that type of policy.
