How to prevent holiday weight gain

It can be easy to get caught up in all of the holiday cheer by eating a little too much and gaining a couple of extra pounds. In order to prevent unwanted holiday weight gain, here are a few tips from AccuWeather.

Skipping breakfast and lunch in order to save your appetite is not recommended as it can lead to overeating. Eating slowly is recommended because eating too fast does not give your body time to register fullness.

Remembering to eat a balanced diet with fruits and vegetables and drinking lots of water can also help in preventing weight gain.
